Inspired by the setting sun filtering golden light through trees in a ravine/canyon - this abstract landscape is a minimalist painting with highlights of gold leaf.
I have used metallic gold gilding through the painting - which changes in the light. There are areas of translucent collage creating abstract tree forms and detailing of rocks and plants in charcoal.Signed on the front.
The gold leaf and charcoal is sealed.Commissions are welcome if you prefer a double canvas panel (diptych) or another size.
