Mono is a series of monochromatic landscapes shaped by my art residency in Iceland (2022) and time spent painting in Switzerland (2024).

Drawing on the traditions of ink painting, these works reduce vast, dramatic terrains to subtle tonal shifts, flowing washes, and expressive, calligraphic marks.

Light, weather, and form emerge slowly through restraint, where absence holds as much meaning as presence.

By limiting colour, the series invites stillness and contemplation, allowing the essence of each place to surface and encouraging a meditative connection between landscape, memory, and brush.
