Commission an Artwork

Clients choose customization for various reasons.

The artwork might be sold, not quite the right size/ shape or the colours don't suit the wall it is intended to hang on.

Maybe you have a photo you want turned into artwork​

I have painted from holiday snaps, garden bouquets and even Wedding venues - including one of the bride's boat sailing on Lake Como in an abstract painterly style.

​I have painted nudes to mark occasions - such as before birth and after cancer treatment.

 I have imitated the styles of Banksy, Monet and Van Gogh to create something closer to what the client wants.

The price involves a number of factors including the style, materials - cotton canvas or linen, framing. Commissions are often made on a custom made canvas as opposed to a standard size art store canvas - as store bought canvases are very limited in sizes.

Approximate pricing - This level of customization means that there is about 20% extra on a similar sized/styled artwork that is currently for sale.

 I create a sketch/a mockup, then that sketch/mockup is placed in situ in your room using photos you provide of the room. So that you can ensure the "artwork" is the right size and the colours are correct for the space. You approve it and pay a 50% non-refundable deposit. And I begin painting.

After the painting is finished, you will receive several detailed photos. A single round of edits is included if you wish to change something.

It depends on how big/detailed the artwork is and what else I have scheduled . I have worked through the night to meet tight deadlines and ensure that the artwork you want is delivered on time. I have painted hundreds of custom artworks and have never had a custom artwork declined by the client.

Delivery is included in the quote. Tracking is provided.

All my stretched artwork are professionally packed and insured.

Artwork shipped rolled in a hard plastic tube are watertight.
