Commission an Artwork

Clients choose customization for various reasons and in various sizes.

Most commonly you like an artwork but it is the wrong size and maybe wrong colours.

I have painted Wedding venues - including one of a little boat on lake Como styled on the photo of the bride arriving in style!

I have painted nudes to mark occasions - before birth, after cancer.

 I have imitated the styles of Banksy, Monet and Van Gogh. I won't copy another artist but using copyright free images as inspiration is fine.

The price involves a number of factors including the style, materials (commissions are often made on a custom made canvas as opposed to a standard size art store canvas). The cost factors in a sketch/a mockup, then that sketch/mockup is placed in situ in your room using photos you provide of the room. So that you can ensure the "artwork" is the right size and the colours are correct for the space. You approve it.

I begin painting.

After the painting is finished, you will receive several detailed photos. A single round of edits is included.

This level of customization means that there is about 20% extra on a similar sized/styled artwork that is currently for sale.

( You might find inspiration in an artwork I sold 8 years ago - and I am happy to create something similar- but the prices have changed )

It depends on how big/detailed the artwork is and what else I have on. I have worked through the night to meet tight deadlines and ensure that the artwork you want is delivered on time. I have painted hundreds of custom artworks and have never had a custom artwork declined by the client.

Delivery is included in the quote. Tracking is provided.

All my stretched artwork are professionally packed and insured.

Artwork shipped rolled in a hard plastic tube are watertight.
