In my Banksia Series, I explore this iconic tree across diverse Australian environments, from the deep red earth of inland regions to the soft coastal plains. View in Elsternwick now - for this collection it was the changing seasons and the emotions they evoke. Autumn is a time of reflection and change, but it also carries a sense of transition. These changing colours and the transition from season influenced the colour palettes and choice of art.
