Chasm is part of the Banksia series, tracing the Australian landscape through this iconic tree.
Inspired by the immensely beautiful Kings Canyon in NT I have captured the passing of light and shadow.
The use of subtle colour, charcoal and metallic gold are evocative of the magic and mystery of the liminal spaces between desert and city.
This abstract landscape is painted in shades of beige, metallic gold, charcoal black and deep brown.
