As part of the Nautical Blue series - this lighthouse painting has a dramatic feel with the stormy sky, white foam sea and the lighthouse shining in the midst of it.
This seascape is painted in a deep, bright peacock teal (with a green undertone) and white. Expansive and evocative of water, waves and depths of the sea.
Painted in oil paint - there is a deep gloss to the painting - adding depth and beautiful base for the metallic copper leaf to shine. Ink has been worked in to create detail in the waves.
