This dynamic abstract landscape is inspired the Australian Alpine regions. The artwork is highly textured and tactile with areas of thick paint, collage and gold leaf.
The starkness of the snow against the Australian Banksias and Snow Gum trees is captured in the limited colour palette of black, white and greys. The areas of grey are in fact a metallic gunmetal and metallic silver paint, that has an iridescence in the light.
The ridge of trees are highlighted with gold leaf and collage.The gold leaf is sealed, and will change in colour depending on the viewing angle.
This large artwork is stretched and ready to hang. - it can be sent in a roll for easy framing at a reduced price of $1900.
