This elegant floral artwork features large wild flowers and wild grass in smokey shades of green with a very dark brown and charcoal black. The metallic gold gilding changes in the light - allowing a sense of movement and dynamism in the artwork.
By using acrylics in a watercolour technique there is a softness to the layers of colours creating detail and depth. It is part of the Wild Series and there are many artworks in this series.
