Bridges of Brisbane - Kurilpa with gold leaf highlights

152 x 61 cm x 4cm

This is part of the Nautical Blue series.
.
The iconic Kurilpa Bridge is rendered in naïve impressionistic style in a elegant palette of light bright blue, whites and gold leaf accents. Ink has been used to create detail

The blues have been gently layered and built up to create the surf and sky. The gold leaf embellishments change and shimmer in a change of lighting and as you walk by the canvas.

It is ready to hang - but not framed - the scene continues around the 4cm edge. So it does not require a frame unless you choose one.
