This artwork is part of the Dune series traces areas of the coast.
I have painted a beautiful part of the Corinella Bay, the tide is out and the ochre and brown rocks are warmed by the sun. Beautiful worn tree stumps and driftwood are flanked by the lush green shore.
The copperleaf shimmers and glows in the light, it can change depending on the angle and light source. The artwork is painted in watercolour and ink with highlights of charcoal, pastel and metallic copper leaf.
