Depth of Tranquility is part of the Dune series, inspired by sand dunes and inlets, shells and rockpools.
This huge artwork has several variants of seaweed and coral layered in soft opaque washes of paint to create a striking statement piece. There are highlights of metallic copper as detailed in the numerous closeups. The metallic copper is in 2 different shades and will change depending on the light source and angle of the viewer.
It ships rolled in a tube. The full size of the artwork is 221 x 181cm and is painted to the edge - allowing for an ample wrap around a canvas stretcher. This artwork has been cropped to show 210 x 170cm.
The colours are black, ochre, tan, terracotta, creamy beige, dark green, light green, olive, black, 2 shades of copper- one is more a rose gold copper and the other a true copper, and white.
