This abstract landscape was inspired by beautiful Grampians in South Australia. The sandstone mountains peak through the trees and the sun shimmers over the dense foliage in ripples of metallic gold leaf.
This artwork has layers of deep khaki green, a warm beige, light brown, dark brown, black and metallic gold leaf. There are small areas of black to add depth. The metallic copper leaf changes colour depending on the angle of the viewer and light.
It is signed on the front.
