The Iceland series depicts paintings from my month long Art Residency in Iceland. July has some 21 hours of light at the beginning and the colours on a clear day were vibrant and lush.
Gufufoss is a stunning waterfall between Seydisfjordur and Egilsstadir on Route 93.
The acrylic is soft allowing for the smoky charcoal to really shape the waterfall.
