Iron Pot lighthouse also known as the Derwent Lighthouse, is the oldest lighthouse in Tasmania, and the second oldest in Australia. Located on Iron Pot island off South Arm, the square tower was built in 1832.
This seascape focuses on the lighthouse with a gold leaf "light" and gold sailboats.This elegant palette of is a smokey grey blue sky and a darker blue with a grey undertone for the sea and with white highlights. The gold leaf changes and shimmers in the change of lighting.
