This elegant, almost monochromatic palette of white and dark blue navy inspires the imagination.The paint is layered in washes making the shapes are so evocative.
The Australian Outback at night is spectacular and at full moon it has a huge air of mystery and other-worldliness.
Inspired by the full moon rising above the ridge with skeleton trees reaching upwards. Parts of the track and bush are illuminated by the moon but the rest of the landscape is in shadow.
Acrylic on canvas.
The colour is a deep navy, with a slight green undertone as opposed to a red undertone.
The artwork is sealed with varnish, a small signature is visible on the edge of the artwork and reverse of the artwork.
