This evocative abstract landscape is part of the Banksia series.
The ridge is partly in shadow, with areas catching the sun. The featured gold leaf detail is the banksia tree - a recurring motif in my artwork

This refined palette of charcoal black, gold leaf, shades of warm brown, beige and cream are a striking contast to the metallic gold leaf. Several of the trees are created with a handprinted translucent paper.
