This tactile artwork depicts a familiar motif in my work - The Banksia. The metallic gold sparks and changes with the angle of the light.
Painted in dark blue, mid blue and white with metallic gold gilding - The metallic gold leaf creates warmth and will change depending on the angle of the light.
It is part of the Banksia Series and there are similar pieces in this series.

This is framed in a wood float frame - the frame can be removed and the artwork will sell for $250.
