This elegant floral artwork features wild flowers in shades of a dark ruby/russet , metallic gold and white on a warm neutral tan and white background. The beautiful highlights of metallic gold gilding - this gold leafing changes in the light - like sunlight filtering through the flowers.By using acrylics in a watercolour technique there is a softness to the layers of colours creating detail and depth. It is part of the Wild Series and there are many artworks in this series.
