The display room shows the 312 x 170cm artwork when it is stretched and hung.
 
A light house shines in a wild ocean sea. Gold leaf is used to create the light house and the rays of light, the stormy sea of a deep dark grey blue with white washes over the gold leaf.
 
The acrylic has been layered on in broad brushworks in shades of a deep grey teal blue and a lamp black has been used to add depth and highlights.
In some lights the gold will look shiny bright and in other light it will look a deeper shade of gold.
