This elegant floral artwork features wild flowers in shades of sage green, smoky grey green with flecks of gold leaf gilding. A warm neutral background in beige and white allows the deeper tones of charcoal to add depth to the flowers.
The metallic gold gilding - changes in the light - like sunlight filtering through the flowers.By using acrylics in a watercolour technique there is a softness to the layers of colours creating detail and depth. It is part of the Wild Series and there are many artworks in this series.
